President's Letter
Welcome to the
National Modena Club web site. The
National Modena Club was established in 1936. The purpose of the Club, according to
Henry Franks Jr., a founding member, was to “boost our little favorite, the
Modena, and to promote the breeding and showing of this grand little
bird”.
The National
Modena Club is one of the largest pigeon specialty clubs in North America with
15 shows annually in the US and Canada. These shows have between 200 and 500
birds and occasionally as many as 800 at our National. Our premier show is our National, held
in conjunction with the National Pigeon Association Annual Show. Our membership is more than 200 all of
whom are eager to help you become a Modena breeder. Please feel free to contact us. We welcome your inquires and are eager
to help you participate in this hobby.
